Inspiration for such hair designs comes from the various types of art projects that I undertake. Sometimes it is spontaneous, and sometimes it would take a good deal of time to come up with a pattern to cover the hair "canvas". Although such hair designs take some time to carve out, the result is well worth it for the model. Such haircutting had its boom times back in 1992, when almost every kid in New York was getting one.
